The schedule of classes and entry forms are issued by each of the Show Secretaries throughout the year.  All queries and entry forms should be sent as instructed by the show secretaries for each show.  It is very important that entries are sent in good time due to the amount of documentation that has to be completed before the events.


SPRING SHOW - Dairy & Pygmy Goats

First of the season for most, this show provides a friendly, relaxed show for novice and experienced goatkeepers. This is also an excellent opportunity to see this year's kids from some of the best breeding lines.

Bring your kids for their first outing to get some practise in the show ring.

If you have never shown before this is the best place to have a go.  Make yourself known to Julia Clarke for Pygmy classes and Sue Smith for the Dairy classes, or any of the committee they will give advice and guidance.

Last of the year's shows with the only opportunity to see the magnificent adult breeding males.  Classes for male and female kids, bucklings and adult females. There are also separate classes for Boer goats.  If you have children who have been inspired by visiting the shows this year, there is a young handlers class for any type of goat.

Breed challenge certificates are competed for:

A Challenge Certificate for the Best Male Goat over one year old.

A Breed Challenge Certificate for the Best Male Goat over one year old for each of the following breeds; Anglo Nubian, British Alpine, Saanen, British Saanen,Toggenburg, British Toggenburg, and Golden Guernsey.
